With property rates currently sky high, not everyone can afford to have a large office space. Today, a lot of our time is spent working in offices rather than at home. So, as we spend so much time in the office, it is important to the office environment user-friendly and pleasant. Having a spacious and uncluttered office can create a great positive effect on your employees.
If you need to access the items very often, i.e. if you want to view some files which need to be taken out constantly, then an open shelf will be perfect as it saves time, as opposed to opening and closing doors constantly. If you have to keep your documents secure, a storage system with a door and lock is the right choice. It is also important to see if it matches the décor of the room. In this way, you can make it more attractive.
Following the enforcement of new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) in 2018, there has been a considerable change in the way that organisations and employers store sensitive data, and this is not just constrained to storing digital information. Organisations must put the same care into securing paper files safely and securely. This will mean the implementation of secure, easy to access, space saving storage systems and the end of important information kept in desk drawers or written on post-it notes that are stuck on desks or computer monitors.
